Seoul Type Housing Voucher Program

Eligibility (application requirements)

Applicants who meet all of the following conditions

  1. ① (Guarantee) Living in rented housing or a public housing center
  2. ② Income and property criteria (to be determined annually)
    • Housing rental deposit of 165 million won or less
    • Property value of 160 million won (65 million won financed) or less, 1 car or less
    • 60% or less of the median income

How to apply

Apply at the community center with jurisdiction over the applicant's residence registration
※ Scope of representatives: Spouses not listed in the resident registration and immediate family members within the second degree of consanguinity and affinity

Subsidy Amount (Direct deposit on the 25th of each month)

  • 1 person: 80,000 won
  • 2 persons: 85,000 won
  • 3rd person: 90,000 won
  • 4th person: 95,000 won
  • 5 people: 100,000 KRW
  • 6 or more people: 105,000 won
    ※ For households with children under the age of 18 who meet all of the above application requirements, the subsidy amount will be calculated by excluding children from the total number of people eligible for the voucher. Children are not included in the above criteria and are paid at 40,000 won per child.
    ※ Households that have recently moved out of a social living facility (elderly welfare facility, homeless facility, domestic violence shelter, etc.) after living there for at least one year may also be eligible for the following support amounts as a specific voucher if they meet the above application requirements
  • Support Amount: 1-2 people: 120,000 won / 3 or more people: 150,000 won

Support Exclusion

  • Basic living recipients
  • Those receiving medical benefits
  • Those living in public rental housing
  • Households consisting only of foreigners
  • Households consisting of university students and vacationers (excluding cyber universities)
  • Those who have a lease agreement with a dependent (parent, child, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, etc.)
  • Subleasing a home from a tenant (sublease agreement)
