Mt. Bukhan National Park, a rare urban natural park in the world, untouched natural beauty and cultural resources and conservation services for a pleasant tour of Korea, has been designated as the 15th national park. Throughout Seoul and Gyeong-gi Province as an area of approximately 79.916 ㎢, Mt. Bukhan National Park is divided into two areas with Uiryeong Pass in the middle: Bukhansan Mountain to the south from the pass, and Dobongsan Mountain to the north.
In Mt. Bukhan National Park, among major rocks and peaks consisting of huge granite, dozens of pristine valleys formed a beautiful blend of water pay a skill, and in it are over 1,300 species of flora and fauna. In addition, since the Three Kingdoms period is the past 2,000 years of history, including Bukhansanseong fortress contained numerous historical and cultural relics and more than 100 temples, the Heritage are scattered across the various sights and ecology, culture, history offers a learning place.

At the peak of Baegunbong Peak (836.5m), many peaks are formed, including Insubong Peak (810.5m), Mangyeongbong Peak (799.5m), and Nojeokbong Peak. On the ridge of the peak, there is Bukhansanseong Fortress with a total length of 8km built in 1711 (the 37th year of King Sukjong's reign), and 14 gates remain. There are many temples and historical sites such as Mt. Bukhan Dulegil, National Patriots & Veterans Cemetery, and traditional temples, leading people to visit, and it is loved by citizens as a good resting place for climbers due to the large number of valley water and thick forests. Mt. Bukhan National Park Ui-ryeong Exploration

Uiryeong-gil, Mt. Bukhan National Park, has been closed to visitors for the past 40 years, and it is a rare area in Seoul with excellent natural ecosystem conservation. Only a limited number of people (1,000 reservations per day) are allowed to visit Uiryeong-gil. Operation of the Visit Reservation System

  • You have to enter from 09:00 to 14:00 and to go down by 16:00
