Mr. Yeo Un-Hyeong was an independence activist and journalist, who formed Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, China and Joseon/Jung-ang ilbo and Joseon Founding Alliance in Korea during Japanese colonial era and made efforts to carry out Anti-Japanese independence movement and found an independent nation, conferred an order of merit for national foundation, Republic of Korea Medal as he was acknowledged for his independence movement, and this place is one with a great historic and educational value where people can pay their tribute to his patriotic spirit.
